  2. You obviously take risks with the camera and as a result make some powerful and haunting images. The photograph of the reeds has a wonderful textural quality and color pallet. I appreciate your ability to exaggerate form and create interesting camera angles. Keep playing around with exposure compensation; the lamp post photograph, for instance, might have more impact had you lengthened the exposure. Also, continue to consider negative space and the edge of the frame. Ultimately, the long exposures work well for you and create deep and haunting images, but you don't want the long exposure to become a device. In stead, you want it to be a tool that helps you make your images. In other words, you need to make the long exposure work for you, rather than define you. Very good work! I am looking forward to seeing more.
